My day always starts with a good breakfast; I simply can’t function properly without it. Porridge is one of the healthiest and warming breakfasts that you can have and perfect for the whole family too. I swear by this in the cooler seasons. Keep the basic porridge recipe the same and vary the toppings. I always make mine with water, never milk, and no salt or sugar either.

1 Part Rolled Organic Oats
2 ½ Parts Water

Sliced Banana, Blueberries and a Drizzle of Maple Syrup.
Homemade Warmed Fruit Compote made from Plums, Apples, Winter Berries.
(Just slice and bake on a low heat in the oven until cooked through).
Grated Apple, Natural Yoghurt and a Sprinkling of Toasted Pumpkin Seeds.
