Gin Glorious Gin!

It’s fast becoming the hottest drink in town! Everyone has gone Gin mad. Champagne and Prosecco have always been up there, think of them as classics that never date, perfect for a celebratory toast. I can honestly say (from experience) that drinking fizz all night can have pretty dire effects. As Tom Cruise once said in Cocktail (1988), “Champagne is perfume going in and sewage coming out”.  A refreshing G and T is perfect for those who don’t like their drinks too sweet and provide the perfect diversion from the dreaded ‘bubbly’ hangover.

Used as a base for many cocktails, perfect with a crisp tonic and a selection of bittersweet fruits, gin is a versatile, trendy spirit available in so many varieties. They have even dedicated festivals in the UK to this fabulous drink.

The right choice of tonic is vital when partnering it with your Gin.
