If you haven’t already, I suggest you watch Oprah’s heartfelt, motivational and inspiring speech she made at the Golden Globes 75th Awards Ceremony. When this woman speaks, she really does reach out to all walks of life. It was while watching this significant moment in time that I stopped and thought to myself ‘this woman is absolutely incredible’. Of course, there was huge relevance to the current Hollywood scandal and the Times Up campaign, but the way she addressed these issues was with compassion and warmth. With past experiences to go by, Oprah continues to portray sheer, selfless genius.
Quote: ‘The biggest adventure you can ever take is to live the life of your dreams.’
Orprah Speech at Golden Globes 75th Awards Ceremony
There is no denying that at the age of 63 Oprah looks sensational, dressed beautifully in a Versace gown at the Golden Globes 75th Awards Ceremony. Her hair perfectly on point, make up; flawless. Having struggled with her weight nearly all of her life, on behalf of all of us; Oprah, you look fabulous!
Quote: ‘Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.’
Don’t let the glamour and jewels fool you with this one. She means business. Hailed ‘The Queen of all media’ and ranked the greatest Philanthropist in American history. Oprah certainly did not let her ‘difficult’ beginnings in life affect the woman she has become today. From Chat show host and actress to Public Figure and writer, there seems to be nothing she can’t do. With whispers and echoes of a potential future presidency, there really is no mountain too high for Oprah.
Quote: ‘Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher.’
I’m sure you will agree, her input at the Golden Globes really did those Hollywood actors and actresses proud. As Winner of the Cecil B. DeMille Award for ‘outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.’ I have no doubt whatsoever that we will be seeing a lot more of Ms. Oprah Winfrey and her outstanding career as it continues to thrive through 2018.
