The time has come! That’s right… the Christmas movie nights have already begun. First it was my absolute favourite ELF, then the funny, yet sentimental Almost Christmas. Christmas is my favourite time of year and seems to start earlier and earlier on in the year. I’m even contemplating putting up the tree soon. Maybe that should wait for another couple of weeks.
Over the next few weeks I will be sharing with you all the things I love to do during the festive build up. Watching one of my favourite Christmas movies is right up there on my list. Get the family together, grab the cosy blankets, light a candle, cook up some tasty low syn movie snacks and check out one of the following Christmas movies.
Everybody loves ‘Buddy the Elf’ on his adventures to find his real father and save Christmas. Will Ferrell stars in this hilarious comedy for young and old.
This is a festive feel-good classic for the ‘holiday’ season with a stellar cast including Cameron Diaz and Jude Law.
If you haven’t seen this already, where have you been for the last 28 years? Culkin offers up some laughs in this slapstick caper with Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as the ‘wet bandits’.
Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon struggle visiting all four families on Christmas Day when their annual holiday vacation is cancelled! Typical Christmas struggles movie… hilarious.
Christmas with the Kranks
Escaping Christmas isn’t always what’s easy as Jamie Lee Curtis and Tim Allen realise this in this madcap comedy based on the book ‘skipping Christmas’
The Santa Clause
Tim Allen takes on the job of Santa Clause(e) after knocking the big man himself off his roof when inspecting the sound of sleigh bells with his son Charlie. Hilarious one-liners and visual fun for all the family.
Brilliant British comedy. Relationship are broken and begun in this original love story from the makers of Bridget Jones. It has a great cast and soundtrack. I actually love this.
National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Crazy Christmas capers of the Grizwald family
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Moody, slapstick and a complete barrel of laughs. Join the Grinch (Jim Carrey) and his loyal canine companion ‘Max’ as he tries to steal Christmas from the people of Whoville.
