Your Christmas Table should be a feast for the eyes. From making seasonal garlands or foraging for foliage its these personal touches which make a festive dining table special. It doesn’t have to be expensive as all foraged items are at your disposal.
There is nothing more festive than the aromatic smell of evergreens and eucalyptus, so not only will your table look good but will smell amazing. You may want to add a centrepiece candle or some twinkly tea lights, there really are no rules.
For a country, style look start with a red, white or green table covering teamed with contrasting napkins. Adorn with a mixed pottery collection for a more paired down and county look. Add your centrepiece of candles and foliage. You may even want to add some cosy sheepskin or tartan throws to the chairs too, perfect for comfort and style.
Make it personal
For a simply styled table, whilst not create your own name cards out of old Christmas cards or tags. Cover the table with brown paper and decorate using potato prints or paper snowflake patterns. Finish off with garlands of dried oranges, cinnamon sticks, pine cones and berries from the garden. You could even make your own crackers using a tutorial off Youtube or Pinterest. The kids would really love to help with these too.
Elegant and Decadent
For a more elegant Christmas table design, use charger plates stacked with stunning white crockery. Adorn the table with splashes of gold and sparkling glassware. Use simple white tealights and a large vase centrepiece adorned with a gold ribbon for a stunning display. Fill beaded bowls with colourful fruits for a splash of colour. Finally, don’t forget to have the Bluetooth streaming carols and Christmas classics for a chilled vibe.
Whatever your table decoration of choice is, I am sure that it will be a feast for the eyes.
