Pre Christmas is the perfect time to top up your Festive drinks trolley. Get in the party spirit with some Festive Fizz, Classic cocktails or Christmas Punch. Or maybe give that new Gin a whirl or reintroduce an old favourite.
One drink I have purchased is the Marks & Spencer’s light up liquor Gin. To be honest, the swirling glitter and the light-up bottle sold it to me but I am quite intrigued to taste the contents too. I cannot confirm or deny if I will be sharing this.
Support small businesses
To support small businesses this year I have also ordered a bottle of gin from the Salcombe Gin store. It’s important to support small businesses through these difficult times and they are grateful for your business.
Christmas & New year is also the perfect time to break out the cocktails. Check out youtube and Pinterest for some inspiring recipes. Why stick to just one beverage when you can create a whole cocktail of them. It could become your new Festive Drinks favourite.
Find the perfect gift
If you are stuck for the perfect gift for your loved ones check out Not on the High Street. They feature some fantastic small businesses making flavoured Gins and distilled spirits, plus personalised glasses and cocktail shakers.
One drink that’s always a winner at Christmas is Bucks Fizz and we love to have a special Christmas Day breakfast. The beauty of buck fizz is that you can easily make this yourself with Champagne and orange juice.
Another small business suffering from COVID 19 Restrictions are the micro brewery’s. Several of these offer a takeaway service or craft beer gift selection These make a perfect gift or an addition to your Festive drinks trolley.
This post leans towards alcoholic beverages but there are many non-alcoholic versions. The children always love a festive Snowball as a Christmas treat.
Whatever you choose as your Festive Christmas Tipple remember to shop local and support small businesses. They offer amazing products and first-class service .
