Here are my recommendations for some of the best Christmas markets to visit.
This Midland offering runs from 15th November – 23rd December. Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas market is the largest UK outdoor market. Here you will find Mulled wine served in a traditional mug, live music, and a delicious array of food.
Bath Christmas Market opens on 28th November and runs through till 15th December. With over 170 wooden chalets located on Bath’s world heritage site. Renowned for its romantic atmosphere, it’s easy to see why this is a firm favourite with all ages.
This ultimate winter wonderland opens its doors on 21st November right through till 5th January. During this time, you will see that Hyde park transforms into a magical winters scene with rows of stalls, rides, and even an ice rink. From the 14th November to the 22nd December, the walled city of York plays host to a Victorian Christmas Market featuring a smorgasbord of everything festive. Rows upon rows of sweet treats, handcrafted toys and decorations bring the city to life.
